We've been set a new Module Brief titled 'Visual Thinking - Visual Communication'.
Within the brief Amber set us a Studio Brief titled 'Alphabet Soup: Visual Thinking'.
To get started, we were previously set the task of bringing in ten examples of graphic design which illustrated our interest in the subject. Each person had to individually explain why they'd picked each of there visual aids. We had to make notes on each individuals presentation, helping us understand the source of our groups creative interests.
Then in our blog groups we had to pick ten categories which we could place our summer brief type research into, these were the categories we came up with;
-3D
-Hand Written
-Unstructured
-Serif
-Sans Serif
-Lowercase
-Real Media
-Symbols
-Geometric
-Minimalist
The aim of the task was to help get a better understanding of the range of type which we could work with for the next part of the task.
