OUGD405: Studio Session on research topic

Prior to the session we were all given individual research themes. The theme is the start of a new brief, to get started with the research we were asked to bring a selection of interesting findings of our topic to Fred's session. My research topic is Elvis.


Write the ten most interesting facts about your research topic:

-Born in Mississippi, Tupelo.
-Elvis Aaron Presley
-Peanut butter, banana and bacon was his favourite toastie
-1956 was the peak of his career
-Frank Skinner bought a shirt owned by Elvis for £11,000
-His body guard was known for killing people '14 ways in 14 seconds'
-Had a twin brother who died.
-Very very poor when he was young
-Served in the military
-Died on the toilet
-Parents thought how he danced was inappropriate.

With the people on our table we had to make not of how many facts and opinions we had together. We had 85 facts and 5 opinions.
