OUGD505: Studio brief 3 - Poster design

I was given Carnal Knowledge as my movie poster. Carnal knowledge is a euphemism for having intercourse. I watched the film and chose the most memorable scenes and the most memorable symbols in the film. Ann Margaret, the main female actor in the film is known for having large breasts, so I decided to take this and see what I could design.

Here is my final poster:

I chose pink and purple as they are a symbol of romance and love, what the film is mainly about. I added an image of the breasts in the background and had the two characters from the film (Jack Nicholson and Art Garfunkle) stood speaking to each other, almost as if they are looking back to look at the breasts.
